Smothered Chicken and Rice

Covered Chicken and Rice formula – genuinely delectable! Everybody cleaned their plate and requested seconds! That never occurs at our home!!! Chicken and rice prepared in cream of chicken soup, milk, cheddar, mozzarella and bacon. Prepared to heat in a snap and on the table quickly. We make this in any event once every month!! SO GOOD!

 

This Smothered Chicken and Rice was a HUGE hit in our home. It was acceptable to the point that we had this for supper two evenings in succession!! Chicken and Rice covered in cream of chicken soup, milk, cheddar, mozzarella and BACON – how is it possible that this would not be acceptable?!

 

Smothered Chicken and Rice

This was too simple to make. It in a real sense required 5 minutes to amass and it was prepared for the stove. Prepare some green beans and bread rolls while the Smothered Chicken and Rice is heating and supper will be on the table in around 30 minutes. You genuinely can't beat that!

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • ½ tsp seasoned salt
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 (10.75-oz) can Cream of Chicken soup
  • 1½ lbs boneless skinless chicken tenders
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella
  • 8 slices bacon cooked and chopped
  • 1¼ cups milk
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray.
  2. Spread cooked rice in bottom of prepared pan. Top with chicken tenders. Sprinkle chicken with seasoned salt.
  3. Mix together cream of chicken soup and milk. Pour over chicken.
  4. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and top chicken with shredded cheeses. Sprinkle cooked bacon on top of the cheese. Return to oven and bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165ºF.
